Our team is adept at providing a wide range of turn-key engineering solutions in the transportation sector.
Both in respect of land and rail transport systems, we are recognised for our ability to provide innovative, reliable and long-term solutions.
Rail Transport Services
At STIE, we are actively involved in a wide range of rail and associated services regionally, but with greater focus in South East Asia and the Middle East region.
The evolution and growth of our rail transport capabilities is a reflection of our long-term commitment in this sector. Apart from our consultancy and project management services, we have developed our own niche areas of expertise, including but not limited to refurbishments of train coaches and HVAC.
We have also experienced rapid growth in the rolling stock, and emerged as a key player in Singapore and Malaysia in the provision of these services. This was in part aided by our strategic association with Bombardier, a global player in rolling stock.
The recognition we have gained in this region and beyond is a clear indication of the high standards of performance that is upheld by all our specialists.
Land Transport Services
Our land transport services encompass a comprehensive range of traffic management systems that are designed to provide real-time information to improve traffic flow and overall safety of transport services.
STIE's services includes turnkey design, as well as project implementation and management for highway traffic management systems.
All our solutions are technology and data driven. Our Traffic Light Control System uses data to synergise traffic signals in accordance with the level of traffic flow. Similarly, our Highway Traffic Management System allow operators to manage congestions and adjust traffic conditions by providing real-time traffic alerts to motorists.
Powered by technology
STIE connects people and cities by providing technology-infused solutions that carve out efficient transport infrastructures across Asia and the Middle East.
The urban landscape in some countries is in the midst of a considerable shift, and it is often characterised as a race towards a Smart Nation.
For example, in Singapore, such an emphasis is on open data and analytics for urban transportation that is geared towards enhancing efficiencies in the transportation system.
As modern cities and towns become more connected by railways and highways, it is our believe that a technology-driven smart railway and highway system must live up to the expectations for public transport system that fits in with the Smart Nation initiatives.
